While we were waiting to pick up the girls from school, I decided to film Luke singing his favorite Christmas song. It was just too stinkin cute. I guess it's true that life can imitate art.(make sure to turn off my music on the blog, it's at the bottom.)

Temple Square Visit
On Sunday we went up to Temple Square to see the lights. We always choose the worst time to go. We didn't realize that the first presidency Christmas message was on Sunday. The traffic was insane, finding a parking spot took us 40 minutes. On the bright side everyone was going to the conference center and not temple square.
The kids are finally old enough that we ALL can enjoy the lights and atmosphere. I have forgotten how beautiful the temple is surrounded by Christmas lights. It was fun to talk with the kids about our wedding day at the SLC temple. It makes it seem real to them when your standing right in front of the temple.
I think the kids enjoyed the statue of Christ the most. I remember when my parents would take us to temple square as kids. I always loved seeing the statue. My parents gave me wonderful Christmas memories.
Just as a side note....Do you like Luke's beanie in the pictures? Last year he was obsessed with transformers. I couldn't bring myself to buy him the "good" transformers beanie. So I bought him the beanie that best fit his personality at the time...the decepticons. I think it was a personal rebellion on my part. He loves the beanie and I love you Luke.
The three best gifts I could have ever recieved.

Moving Day
I have put off blogging about our latest adventures. It just seems to be kind of silly to talk about but any who..we moved the week of Thanksgiving. For those of you that are familiar with us, this news will not come as any shock. In Dallas we moved 3 times within 4 years. So keeping up with that trend, we moved to Spanish Fork. I'm sure most of you are thinking that we are crazy? Yes, I can confirm that I am totally crazy. We were made an offer to move that was too good to pass up. So my cousin and his wife are now living in the house in Springville. We feel that everything happens for a reason, even if were not sure what that reason is. Looking back on my life things that have seemed to be a challenge have brought our family the most blessings and growth. I have learned that home is where you make it. As long as Branden and my children are with me, what else could I ask for. We are feeling at home in the new house. This is the first house that I'm not going to have to paint...yeah!!!!! Life is good. If we are constantly thinking of things we don't have in life, we miss the blessings we have right in front of us. I have had this quote on my blog before but I just wanted to share it again..."May we never let the things we can’t have, or don’t have, or shouldn't have, spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it, for one of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have." Richard L. Evans

After Thanksgiving fun...Rated PG-13
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was nice to be at my parents. It has been several years since I have been able to spend the holiday with family. Know one makes rolls and pie like Joan. All others are sad substitutes. After the feast was over we got started on our Thanksgiving craft. We were making these adorable "Christmas" banners. I guess we couldn't help ourselves as you can see in the pictures below. Hummmm....let's see what dirty words we can make out of Christmas. I'm pretty sure were going to hell for this one. At least I'm in good company. It seems like when the sisters get together, things tend to get crazy. I love my sisters. They are my best friends and therapists. Thanks for always making me laugh.
