I've been tagged. This picture is from 2007. Brooklyn was 9 years old. She had just cut her hair for "beautiful lengths". Beautiful lengths is a company that provides free wigs for women who have cancer and have lost their hair.(Just as a side note locks of loves charges their clients for their wigs based on income, which I personally feel is horrible) So we donated Brooklyn's hair to "beautiful lengths". Her donation didn't go without a few tears but I was so proud of her. She learned about sacrifice and the happiness it can bring to you and others. Brooklyn has always been a very selfless person. She is such an amazing young lady. I am so honored to be her mother. I had to post the "before" picture so you could really get an idea of how long her hair really was.

She is so brave. That is good info about locks of love. Brooklyn has grown up a lot in 2 years. Hope the first day of school went well.
