So, last night the Broncos played the Raiders. This game is one of the highlights of the football season. Branden is a Raider fan. His best friend (David King) and his brothers are Bronco fans. Did I mention that the King Clan are Raider haters. This game is crucial to bragging rights for the year. Needless to say the Raiders lost. The game was actually very painful to watch. I had to keep reminding Branden to stop yelling at the TV. They can't hear you....Branden!! So this evening Brian King came and dropped Branden off a little present. The present was a 2008 Raider fan survival kit. Here are some the the things included in the kit.
1. Aspirin- you are going to need them.
2. Mouthwash-to help wash the bad taste out of your mouth
3. Antacid- to help with upset stomach
4. Magnifying Glass- try to find the positive during the game
5. Stress Ball
6. Tissues-help dry those eyes
7. Nitetime Liquid Capsules- we know the Raiders are going to make you sick
8. Fist aid kit- Raider fans bleed for their team-literally
10. Ring pops- Raiders play has caused some fan to regress to child like tendencies
11. Hat& Sunglasses- you can't stay inside all season.
12. Brown bag- sometimes you have to watch the game in public.
We all had a good laugh!! It's nice to have good friends when you are going through tough times!?

Hilarious! So sorry Branden! We do that sort of stuff with our NASCAR red-neck neighbors when the Fords lose to the Chevys....hee hee! I'm going to have to refer to that clever gift when the Fords lose the Championship this year...OMG...I sure hope the Toyotas don't take the Championship...if they do...I'm done with All American Racing! :)
